BRADES, Montserrat – Poem’s From Behind God Back, the new collection by Professor Sir Howard Fergus will be launched this Friday on Day one of the third annual Alliouagana Festival of the Word.
Fergus’ book is one of two which will make its debut during the literary festival which brings together authors, entertainers, playwrights, book lovers and would-be writers for three days of workshops, lectures and entertainment.
The second book to be released on the opening night is The Ill Concepts of the Caribbean Woman by UK-based Jo-Anna Richards. In her debut release which is part novel part self-help guide, Richards explores through the eyes of several women the issues that many struggle with worldwide of violence, deception, self-hatred and the search for love.
