Archaeologist Dr. Pulsipher believes Carr’s Estate Heritage site can boost tourism

SWEENEY’S Montserrat – Archaeologist Dr. Lydia Pulsipher is of the view that the Carr’s Estate heritage site has the potential to boost tourism in the long term on Montserrat.

This assessment was made during the public lecture Monday night at the Montserrat National Trust in Olveston.

“We want to do very sophisticated and respectful academic research but we also want to create a site that is interpreted for the public and which will be an interesting place to visit for Montserratians, then hopefully in the future it will be a real tourist attraction for Montserrat”, explained Dr. Pulsipher.
