ZJB Radio was founded privately in 1952 by Mr. Frank Delisle (also LIATs’ founder). The first broadcast was from his home in Olveston with volunteer staff managed by a broadcast committee.
Government took over operations of the radio station in 1957 but it was still operated by volunteers until 1964. 1989 saw the arrival of Hurricane Hugo to the island which caused signifant damage to the station’s infrastructure. This however made way for new facilities in Lovers Lane in 1992. Unfortunately this was shortlived when the volcano struck in 1995.
Since then ZJB has been operating from various temporary locations as it awaits promised permanent relocation to a new purpose built facility in the nothern safe zone. As a community radio station ZJB’s programming aims serves a wide variety of audiences. From daily news casts, gospel programs, health corners, government notices, music segments and volcano updates one can tuned in all day and stay informed and entertained.
Presently ZJB is operated by a staff of committed broadcast professionals who are focused on fulfilling the stations role of providing a high quality broadcast service to the community

I like ZJB Radio!
But why do not you publish the schedule program of ZJB Radio Montserrat? In the presence of the schedule program would be easier to navigate in the air of radio ZJB. Very convenient when you know the scheduling of your favorite programs.
Hello ZJB! Greetings from North Carolina, USA! I was in the USVI in early 1995, and I remember listening to what I believe to be your former AM station on either 590 or 595 AM. I remember hearing coverage and such on this station, while I was in The USVI. I enjoy listening to your stream. I have been in broadcasting for 26 years and I am a fan of Caribbean Music! A station I once managed was also a ‘community’ station, so we had a diverse format, also. What a great station you have! Keep up the great work and May God Bless You!
No – not so. Radio Montserrat used to be on 885 kHz. The station on 595 kHz was DBS Radio from Dominica.
