Delmaude RyanTeachers at the Montserrat Secondary School have been assured that they will receive additional space to house classrooms in September.
The news was disclosed to staff by the Honourable Minister of Education, Delmaude Ryan at a meeting at the school on Wednesday.
Selvyn MaloneyMore than 40% of broiler chickens have been slaughtered at the Pluck Shop since it opened one year ago.
Chief Veterinary Officer in the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. Selvyn Maloney told ZJB News, a total of three thousand six hundred and twelve (3612) birds were slaughtered at the facility which opened on June 2nd, last year at Her Majesty’s Prison.
The total number of chickens slaughtered on Montserrat for that period is eight thousand seven hundred and forty (8, 740).
Jerome MeadeThe number of people obtaining planning approval for constructing facilities has increased.
This follows several appeals by The Physical Planning Unit (PPU) for persons to do so.
Chief Physical Planner Jerome Meade says although there is an improvement, continuous reminders are necessary.
