The national coach of the Montserrat Football Association (MFA) incorporated has resigned.
Kenneth Dyer tendered his resignation in a letter to the MFA dated April 15th, 2013. The decision takes effect May 31st, 2013.
Speaking to ZJB Sports, Coach Dyer says for some time now he has been disappointed with the administration of the game here and the way it has deteriorated since he took up the job back in 2008.
He also said a number of unprofessional actions forced his decision.
Coach Dyer says he is saddened by the destructive influences that are plaguing the development of the game here, and hopes something will be done sooner rather than later to save football.
He’s scheduled to leave island in early June via Jamaica to take up a coaching appointment with his former emeployers Soccer Academy in the USA.
