The Reigning Queen, Miss Montserrat 2011/2012 Claris Yearwood is in Antigua for the Jaycees Caribbean Pre-Show which takes place on Wednesday August 1st at the Antigua Cultural Centre.
The pre-show was introduced this year by the Jaycees Committee and will serve as an eliminatory round to the main show.
Only 10 finalists will progress to the main show on Friday August 3rd where they will compete for the title Miss Jaycees Caribbean Queen 2012.
Speaking to ZJB News today, Ms. Yearwood’s chaperone Ronel White says although they aim to win the title, their main objective is to represent Montserrat to the best of their abilities and make the people of Montserrat and supporters proud.
White says she has nothing short of confidence in Claris and knows that she will not disappoint.
On the Pre-show Wddnesday, contestants are expected to make appearances in the swimwear, evening wear and talent segments.
Yearwood’s swimwear was design by Sheryl Cassell-Cabey of Cassell’s Designs.
