SWEENEY’S , Montserrat – The Montserrat Tourism Industry has been given the thumbs up by a major cruise line.

This follows the Silver Explorer of the Silversea Expedition Cruises Inaugural Call to Montserrat in October.

Shore Expedition Manager for the Ultra Luxury Cruise Ship says she would recommend that Montserrat be placed on their cruise schedule.

She also says Montserrat did a fantastic job showing their guests around and the island most probably will be the highlight of their voyage.

Shore Expedition Manager also commended tourism personnel for their support and guidance given and the very effective way in which the tour was executed.

The UK upscale cruise vessel had on board 51 passengers and 113 crew members, who disembarked and were taken on island tours organized by Jemmotte Shipping and Tours.

Silversea was established by a family in Rome who wanted to create a cruise line whose ships would be as elegant and spacious as the world’s finest hotels.

Silver Explorer formerly known as Prince Albert II has an ice-strengthened hull for expeditions into polar waters and the most remote destinations.
